STATIONARY HYDROGEN SULFIDE MONITORING SYSTEMS

Stationary hydrogen sulfide atmospheric monitoring systems used in oil and gas producing and gas processing plant operations shall include visual or audible alarm(s), lo­cated where the alarm can be seen or heard throughout the work area. The batteries of direct current (DC) systems should be checked daily during operation unless an auto­matic low voltage alarm is provided.
